Bought two of them. Somehow the people who use them keep switching them into Mac mode. And sometimes I need to put the keyboard into DFU mode to get it back into Windows mode. Great build, but would not buy again.

Red switches are linear and provide no feedback from pressing the keys until they hit bottom. Brown switches are tactile and have a "bump" feeling part way down which indicates when the key press is registered. Unlike a membrane type keyboard a mechanical keyboard will register the key stroke before the key is pressed all the way down.

I have not found that to be a problem at all, and I find myself keying off of the keycaps a whole lot more than I ought to.
During the day it's visible just fine and at night the backlights shine through splendidly.

Good KB for the price imo.
Still a little too loud for being on conference calls when you're typing or taking notes though.

I didn't have that problem at all. The key caps are very well made for the price with excellent back lighting.

I've upgraded to the Keychron V3 but the C3 is hard to beat at this price point.

I picked up one of these for $20 off AW. It looked like it was brand new and I've been using it as my WFH KB since it got it. If you can deal with the lack of ten key it's a great keyboard. Very programmable with VIA, but you do need to load the config, and very quiet with the foam and other layers included in the keyboard. I'm tempted to order another one for my wife's M1 MacBook Air but i don't really need yet another mechanical keyboard.

Personally, i prefer the brown switches and there doesn't seem to have any AW deals right now for that switch type. If you want to try out Via/QMK or TKL and mechanical switches I see no reason not to jump on this deal.

I don't know the difference between them other than the 10-key, but I have a Keychron V6 I got as a gift with brown switches and it has been fantastic. I am almost tempted to get one of these as a back up.
