I have been watching for a 14" Lenovo laptop. Is this a good deal or price? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it's a pretty slick deal. Very nice screen, good build quality, slim and light, fairly powerful CPU...this is a really excellent mid-range machine.

this - aren't the 13th gen intel pretty power hungry, especially when compared with equivalent gen CPU from AMD?

I am an Apple fanboy.
Does anyone know if Lenovo will spec one out for me with 8GB of RAM and save $10 so that I pay $1,190 for it instead of $700?
8 is so 2022. I'm waiting for 4ram/256 ssd.

Agree!
We should be able to pay an additional $500 to $800 to custom build 8ram/256 ssd and 4ram/256 ssd respectively.

HEY LENOVO: We the PC People demand to be as cool as Apple Fanboys.

I have used ThinkPads for work for many years. I'm looking at buying a refurbished thinkpad for personal use. Nothing fancy, just browsing, Ms office and occasional streaming.

How does this lenovo model compare to thinkpads? My last personal laptop is a 2 in 1 Acer and it started falling apart after a year. Thinkpads are tank like in comparison.

Not true. Just say it's defective and constantly thermal throttles and shuts off after 40 mins with light usage while plugged in

For $200 more? It's not worth it at all.

B&H will tell you to take it up with the manufacturer warranty.

At best maybe they'll exchange with another unit.

Unless things have changed good luck getting your money back once you open it.
