i have the wireless, like it a lot. Very ergonomic, with good middle mouse scrolling and clicking.

I've bought 2. Both were used and one was returned because it was defective. Works great but worried about potential problems in the future. The reason that one was defective is because the trigger to change from free floating clicker wasn't working. I can hear it actuate but it doesn't change. I opened it up and found that somehow it's not strong enough to switch it. Looked it up online and it's a problem for some people. No water or physical damage.

And if the software doesn't startup, then it default to free floating. I wish there was a little memory without having to rely on the software.

Just something you may want to be aware.

Been driving this guy for 3 years everyday at work, its a good one. Still waiting on a deal for the wireless model at $80 though... i dont use the software.

This mouse feels so cheap. It also has a slippery feel to it. 👎🏿

Received multiple defective copies of the basilisk. The switches they use seem to have very prone to issues.

Are you sure this is the mouse you have? I own it and the sides are definitely textured and grippy. No build quality issues either. Great mouse all around.
