Very likely the CPU performance is no different from i5-13400F's. So, no advantage there.
Most would still take a gen 14 over 13 if you gave them the choice. Even with 0% net performance increase.

I've been trying to catch a deal like this. I do have a few questions:
Is this strictly an online only deal? Are Costco warranties good? And what brand names of parts generally come with something like this? Thanks.

1 more: how well can this be upgraded in the future.?

Clearly assuming all things equal. Confused I'd even have to articulate that shake head.

BTW, $100 premium compared to what identical machine for $899 with a 13400? Wink

I have the i5-13400F version I bought from Costco for $899.

My co-worker also bought my version too but I think he paid $100 more. I love this machine.

Cyberpower uses normal parts, so upgrading should be the same as a prebuilt. Costco has a good warranty and return policy. In general costco is known for selling stuff that is pretty good quality. This is a decent deal all things considering. You may need to upgrade the psu down the road if you want a more powerful gpu, but 600w is okay.

Id say this is a better deal for 100 more, you get a 850 watt psu, and 7800 xt which is about 65% faster than a 4060.

I'm not a gamer or PC expert, but this seems like a great deal relative to other PCs Costco is selling right now as far as storage space and RAM. (I usually like buying from Costco for the warranty and return policy.)

Would this be a good machine for editing photos/videos/music through the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as general Microsoft Office use and of course web surfing?

I don't recommend CyberPowerPC. Their customer service is trash. The one I bought come with an issue with the motherboard and they won't let me to return it because they claim all PC are tested to be good.

This deal is through Costco, though, so a return shouldn't be an issue if needed.
