I am not even sure if this can be classified as a deal. The Ryobi HP P262 was on sale two months ago for $48 with even better specs. Anything Ryobi non HP series is not worth it, kind of like the only good Milwaukees are the fuel versions.

*Ryobi HP basically just means brushless. *

I digress. Yes, brushless anything is better. Yes HP is higher torquing capability. But for DIYers (especially automotive), it makes sense to look info this. Ryobi is the value choice for many DIYers and they presumably already have something green in their toolset. 375ft-lb is more than enough for your any day shadetree mechanic's needs. You don't need more torque to unfasten and fasten on the 1/2 impact. The 3/8 rachet delivers 35ft-lb which is enough to have fasteners bolted on and hand torqued to specification. Granted, the included 2.0ah battery isn't going to unlock the capability of the 1/2 impact. However, most Ryobi folk should already have a 4.0ah battery at their disposal since most power tool combos comes with at least one 4.0ah battery. The included 2.0ah should be reserved for the included ratchet.

The same 1/2 impact was around $79 during christmas (PCL265K1, NOT the P261K), and the 3/8 ratchet was similar pricing if I recall correctly. So if anyone missed out on that, you're getting two tools for the sale price back in december.
