I am not even sure if this can be classified as a deal. The Ryobi HP P262 was on sale two months ago for $48 with even better specs. Anything Ryobi non HP series is not worth it, kind of like the only good Milwaukees are the fuel versions.

*Ryobi HP basically just means brushless. *

Ryobi is the value choice for many DIYers and they presumably already have something green in their toolset. 375ft-lb is more than enough for your any day shadetree mechanic's needs. You don't need more torque to unfasten and fasten on the 1/2 impact. The 3/8 rachet delivers 35ft-lb which is enough to have fasteners bolted on and hand torqued to specification. Granted, the included 2.0ah battery isn't going to unlock the capability of the 1/2 impact. However, most Ryobi folk should already have a 4.0ah battery at their disposal since most power tool combos comes with at least one 4.0ah battery. The included 2.0ah should be reserved for the included ratchet.

The same 1/2 impact was around $79 during christmas (PCL265K1, NOT the P261K), and the 3/8 ratchet was similar pricing if I recall correctly. So if anyone missed out on that, you're getting two tools for the sale price back in december.
