My 8yo son was ecstatic when he went from 1080p gaming on an old Dell 4k@60hz 24" to 1080p gaming on a new LG 1440P@165hz 32". Even more excited today when he started gaming on a Sony 1080p@60hz 40" TV from 2015.
I paid $150 for his 1440P 32" about a year ago. This monitor at $159 would make many gamers very happy, especially those that consider a majority of specs trivial.
My son and I also game on a projector screen of 120" @1080p. Personally, I get used to it and forget how bad it looks because we are having fun...because it's gaming.
To add on to previous comments, the pixel density on a 1080p 24" monitor is almost exactly the same on a 1440p 32" monitor. I would never recommend to buy a 1080p monitor this big. Even 27" is a stretch in my opinion.

You don't get lower resolution monitor just for that.

running higher res uses more gpu anyway..but yea for 32" you would want 1440p or 4k generally
