If you like puzzles and philosophy, I highly recommend both games. There's quite a bit of reading to get the whole story, but it's 100% worth it. First game made me cry. I'm at the end of the second game and while it hasn't left me with that awe-struck as the first, it's a good sequel.
How long does it take to beat Talos Principle VR version? Are those the same puzzles that appear in the regular Talos Principle PC version?
It's the same game, plus it comes with the Road to Gehenna DLC included with VR version so def worth it. I'd say 15-30 hours without hints? Can certainly do it faster - expansion is more difficult and wildly depends on how quick you are with puzzles.
I picked up TTP PC version + DLC to play on Steam Deck and TTP2 as well this sale. Great content
Road to Gehenna is $1.49 and it's an outstanding DLC. Like the main game, the puzzles are mostly very good, but unlike the main game (IMO) it has a really interesting and well-written story. Essentially you are reading threads on a fictional message board between puzzles, with new posts to read each time. You get to know the regulars, the culture, who is popular, who are the trolls, etc. Many of the users are based on famous philosophers, and behave accordingly. I think anyone who hung out on a forum or BBS in their youth will find it funny and nostalgic.
It's not a story that's deeply interwoven with the gameplay or anything, but it's a rare storytelling method that can only work in a game, and the puzzles give you a solid break from reading so that you're always curious to see the latest posts.

Thanks! Their sale page didn't mention the VR version being on sale at all. Searched it after seeing your comment
