I have this and never use it. It's not really long enough to be useful for 1/2" breaker. It's not much longer than my 1/2" ratchet. And the few times I tried using this, I've always needed more leverage and simply used my 25". The 15" is just a weird size.

15" is short for a 1/2 breaker bar. It would be decent for 3/8" stuff, but even cheapo HF's 3/8" is 17".

If you don't physics, this is going to give you significantly less power to free a stuck fastener.

The cheapo HF 1/2 is 18" for $15. +20% torque vs this one

The better Pitt Pro 1/2 is 25" for $22. +100% torque vs this one

If you're thinking of this to live in your trunk to help with flats, 15" might do it for you if you're strong. 18" should do it for most people with effort. 25" should work for most everybody. Get a better breaker bar. If you ever use it, you'll be happy you invested in roadside safety.

If you're thinking of this for your truck, you can only use a 100000 ft-lb big impact. Probably only Milwaukee Fuel. Big Grin

Pro tip. Just use a standard heavy duty socket wrench and put a long metal pipe on around the handle to extend and increase leverage.

In emergency, just buying a black iron 1.5-2" gas pipe from Home Depot will serve the same purpose.

please just buy a breaker bar but not this one, like previous posts stated, you need something longer (thats what she said)

I've got a 5-foot long cast-iron pipe and I don't want to mess up my ratchet any more than I already have, so this is perfect for me!

I'm shocked that ratchet hasn't blown it's gears after the amount of abuse I've put on it over the years.
