Well, if your gaming computer can barely do 60-75fps anyways, it wouldn't matter if they spent 300$ on a 144hz monitor. Wouldn't make any difference. But if they get a monitor that fits their performance, it actually works really good.

Thanks for that! I saw "IPS Grade Panel" on the Amazon product page and went with that, but on the official website it also does list VA [msi.com].

For the price yes, but it's a 75hz display and most gamers recommend a minimum 144hz.
