DDR4 vs. DDR5 is a non-issue for most people. Going down from 2TB storage to 1TB storage may or may not matter for your needs (but an SSD is easy to add or replace). The CPU is the one big difference. You can't unsee an i7 at this price.

I think i7 is a better choice
but CyberPowerPC got better looking case
and I don't think you can do much upgrade on oem HP PC

The RTX 4060 has DisplayPort 1.4a outputs which can support resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz with DSC (Display Stream Compression). LG Ultrafine 5K displays typically use a resolution of 5120 x 2880 which is well within the capabilities of the RTX 4060.
For optimal performance, double check the specific LG Ultrafine 5K model you have and verify its port requirements to ensure compatibility with the RTX 4060's outputs."

Edit: Refreshed the page and the -$300 is back.
What I would recommend is to not sleep on external storage, whether it be a full NAS or just an external enclosure.
NVME is great for a primary drive, but the cost/performance ratio staggers pretty quickly when you start using them for non-specific auxiliary tasks.

I don't know how great HP OEM builds are but on paper it looks like a good deal. Nice that it has 32GB of memory too.
The full HP spec sheet on it from HP's site does say that it has 2 M.2 slots. So if thats right there should be a free M.2 slot.EDIT : OK so based on 2 reports there is not a open M.2 slot. There is one M.2 used by the 1TB drive and then the other M.2 is occupied by the wireless card. There is however a x1 PCIe slot so you could use an adapter to put a M.2 drive in your PCIe slot.Example of such an adapter : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCLHQV43/
I don't know if that adapter part is any good, just randomly grabbed one to show what kind of device.
Also says there is one 3.5" bay
"Expansion slots
2 M.2; 1 PCIe x16; 1 PCIe x1"
"Internal drive bays
One 3.5" available"
