You know they will just put less of each topping if you get 10. More food means more cook time, so its the same mass, just more variety

As a complete aside, I was able to get 10 toppings on a pizza once (at Papa John's), and it is incredibly tasty. I had to ask them to bake it a little longer though, so that the dough was cooked through.

As a heads-up: even though the Pizza Hut website told me that the store I selected didn't have the deal, the deal still showed up and I could add the 10-topping Medium pizza to my cart at the deal price.

Pizza toppings are a scam. You get less cheese and you pay the same amount for each additional topping even though you get less and less of each. You're paying for variety, not more food

One time I got a little caesars large fanceroni pepperoni pizza. They went crazy, covering every inch of the pizza with 3 layers of pepperoni. You couldn't see the pizza. Over half the pizzas weight was the pepperoni.

The amount of pepperoni would've cost more than the $8 they charged for the pizza.

When they gave it to me, the bottom of the box was soaked all the way through in pepperoni grease. When the box had tilted in the car, orange grease poured out of the corner of the box. I only noticed when I did a one-handed carry under the pizza box into the house and then noticed that my hand was wet.
