It definitely seems like every retailer with a rewards program is actively finding ways to make them decidedly worse over time. For example,, Best Buy made it so you get NO rewards points unless you use their credit card.
As in... Amazon has its own driver's and Walmart uses other companies sometimes and you are expected to tip.
Amazon does not have it's own drivers. They're all contractors. The vans you see are operated and maintained by DSPs (delivery service partners), small logistics companies. They also use gig workers aka Flex drivers for SSD (sub same day) who deliver in their own vehicle.
As for the paid Circle 360, even at $49 it's a no buy for me if the deals just aren't there. The least they can do if they're going to create a Prime/Walmart Plus clone is throw in an "ad supported" streaming service subscription as an added feature. That way at least if you don't use the shipping discounts or anything else there's some value to the program.
Unless they've changed it (finally) you can still price match and any promotions in the system should automatically apply on TOP of the price match. That's YMMV though, especially if you get a stickler for policy.
Meaning, only 4 left to reach that. It will be nice to see if they add benefits the way Walmart + and Amazon Prime have...

That's also why I can count my Amazon orders in the past five years on one hand, since their idea of a "deal" and mine definitely do not match.
They do automatically lower the price if you call to cancel.

I also had $18 of Tide from another purchase (otherwise I would have gotten Tide instead of the Storage Bags), so I am doing the P&G Rebate for $15 prepaid gc for $50 of P&G products.
$168.51 of merchandise (original price after tax and without 10% discount)
-10.58 10% off
-$15 Target GC
-$15 P&G prepaid GC
-$30 Target GC
-$10 Target Circle Rewards bonus for purchase over $75
After discounts, my total is $80.58. Over half off!
I also used discounted gift cards to place my purchase, so you could subtract another $8... or if you have a RedCard, you can take off like $4.

Does Walmart + have perks like Target circle offers? This week I was offered $10 reward with $70 purchase
I suggested to rename the card to the Bullseye card, in honor of the mascot. And I got demoted.
I liked it when Circle was still called Cartwheel, and I didn't see why they needed to change it from red card, either. But, maybe Target can only copyright certain things. I think the color red, and the term "Bullseye" are words that so many people use that they can't be copyrighted by a single corporation.
