Thanks, I bought Percy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B626MK5W?th=1
These ones do now talk vs the one posted in OP, a big plus for me.

I bought the ones that do talk. We have a set with talking Thomas and Percy that we will add the whiff and kana to - thanks, OP.

Thank you. I purchased the Secret Agent Thomas one yesterday for $6.07 and Percy's Mail Delivery for $6.84 because I already have a Prime membership. I don't have Walmart + so I would have had to pay shipping to get the talking ones in the original post.
The Secret Agent Thomas toy is now $5.37 on Amazon if anyone has Prime and it matches Walmart's price

Probably work best on the plastic tracks, as these have texture to give them traction (previously known as Trackmaster).
There is no torque to the big plastic motorized Thomas trains -- they cannot climb the hills on wooden tracks very well, and they get stuck easy (especially when off track). That said, size wise they do fit on wooden tracks. The corners and hills they may need help (try to avoid the small curves on wood track, turns are too sharp).
