I think you should put not 49.99 price in the title but 69.99 as a new line of 20 bucks is required.

Saw it added to their website yesterday but it was not in stock.
Called to order through customer service but order didn't go through.

Tried again on the website and was able to order one just now.

Better than buying the Costco WI-FI only version for double the price!

You're getting that reply because your browser couldn't connect to the authentication server Metro uses.


Could be an adblocker, host file, etc. Or even your ISP could be doing it.

The simple answer is to turn off any and all adblockers, script blockers etc.

When everything is working correctly you'll see three challenge questions to authenticate your identity.

And before you say it, yes they do this even if you've already logged in with your Metro account to purchase the tablet. It seems they do the three challenge questions on every order regardless of whether you're already a customer or not.

To sum it up, you need to find what's blocking the connection to that authentication server. I found that turning off all adblocking etc, and opening an incognito tab on my phone, which had WIFI off, and connecting through my mobile network fixed this problem several times.

Got the tablet today, but I had to go back to the shipping email to track my order and activate my tablet line from there. Inserting the sim card and setting up the tablet didn't automatically activate it.

Just now received mine, and activated. After activating, I was able to again see "Add a line" option. So, went ahead and ordered Moto Stylus 5G on $40 plan, with port in from Visible.

Initial impression of the tablet : light, and doesn't feel as good as my S6 Lite or S8 (build quality OK). Screen not good, viewing angle is terrible. Not liking the screen at all. Wish it had a basic fingerprint scanner.

The bill shows the extra 20 for the tablet. There is no option to pay for individual lines. Just the whole total or a specific amount.

Just received mine, one side of the seal on the box is broken but everything inside looks brand new. Does this happen to anyone else? Or I am just lucky and got a return unit.

You can get lucky and get a chat option online or in the MyMetro app, otherwise you need to call.

fricking metro lets me get to checkout then does that stupid fraud identity thing, which i answer, and says had to cancel order. then says "you're not eligible to add a line".
