There's a pattern with Tesla threads here. I don't care if you all wanna discuss the deal or the cars but it always turns into paaaages and paaaages of bickering back and forth and nobody ,except for the few involved, enjoy that or wanna wade through that. So cut that stuff out, please and thank you.
FYI just because it says "New" doesn't mean it qualifies for the 7500 tax credit. Demo models are new but do not qualify for 7500. If the specific inventory item qualifies it will directly say it on the site.

ICE engines can sit for decades unused and then start up and be basically brand new. EV batteries degrade even when not used at all.
Leave sentry mode on and lost 10% or more per day not evening driving.
Interesting about plant food and CO2. I wonder how it may affect them in the future or not. Probably minimal.
I do know the extra 20% tire debris is significant in some areas and will cause more issues also.
Gasoline in ICE engines degrades in about 3-6 months. Keep an ICE parked unused this long, good chance it won't start at all. If you forget to turn sentry mode off on a long absence, it will automatically turn off at 20%, saving further discharge. If you're not a green plant, CO2 is toxic. Breathing CO2 can result in sickness or death. The majority of cars sold in the US presently are trucks and SUVs that weigh as much or more than an EV. They also pollute more and have poor gas mileage. Yet no one seems to complain about their weight or pollution. Driving habits and high torque/quick acceleration are the most important factors in tire wear.
These vehicles that are at this particular price DO NOT qualify for the federal tax credit. I looked up and down the inventory page and these DO NOT have the "7500 federal tax credit" badge.
Just picked one up yesterday at this price point and got the $7500 Tax incentive.

Yeah, you might want to take a look at all the record fines Toyota has received for deceptive lending practices, lying about complying with EPA guidelines, and safety from uncontrollable acceleration. And that's beyond the billions they've stolen from their people in government welfare on hydrogen subsidies even after they knew it was a dead end for consumer vehicles. Now they're even doing the same grift with their vaporware 500 mile range EV batteries designed and built by, I kid you not, a primarily petroleum company that just started working with batteries. They're like a crummy Bond villain of a company.
For the sake of transparency and a good read, would you mind posting some links on these statements? I'm sure others are also curious to know more.
I had accident in my model Y. malfunctions break and steering wheel locked and airbags didn't deploy. luckyly nothing happen to entire family.
Sorry you had an accident. Sounds like the vehicle protected your family perfectly? Airbags can cause significant injuries and you don't want them going off when not needed.
dare drop their MSRPs-because they were too high in the first place. As for updates-if something is frequently getting updated it could also be that it was not good to begin with. (so updates go both ways)
You do know that the Model Y launched at 49k right? Once again no other company ICE, BEV, PHEV, are not dropping prices. The new prius goes for 49k after dealer markups.... once again direct to consumer will solve all problems of demand, giving those who are patient a discount. Rather than putting a unnecessary middle man that only look for profits (will never sell for a loss), so people just pay whatever they are charged
