Please don't buy this other than for emergency/temporary travel carrier.Rabbits needs WAY bigger cage than this. This size is not even suitable for Guinea Pigs, let alone Rabbits.

Rabbits can be potty trained to "take care of business" in a specific/separate area (storage tub) if you give them the room. It is much easier to dump the contents of the tub and then quickly spray it down vs cleaning this cage. This cage would get dirty and smelly fast. The nooks and crannies would result in linger smells.

If you give them the space to learn and adapt, it will be better for both you and the rabbit. Our rabbit free roams the house and backyard. When she wants to go outside, she will run and scratch at the backyard door. When she wants to come inside, she will come up to the glass slider. She has had less than 10 accidents in the house but some of those were our fault because we did not notice that she wanted to go out. Yes, our two year old rabbit is trained to potty outside like our dog…it is very possible.
