And Samsung is VA panel and LG IPS panel.

I have never compared VA and IPS panel side by side, but general consensus is IPS is better

This one is flat, and LG is curved. Also refresh rate is 100 vs 60 Hz.

IPS is subjectively better than VA in categories such as viewing angle, antiglare, color accuracy, and brightness. VA is better for contract and that's about it. So…I personally go IPS.

Considering brightness comes from backlight and anti glare comes from coatings and has nothing to do with the LCD technology in the panel.. you should probably find a new source of information

Va is better at darker black, more uniform black, less light bleed.

I usually aim for ips display because of low-end vs. panels are very bad with trailing, ghosting, and smudging. Bad for face pace and accurate gaming.

Microcenter has this as the S34C5 (but based on specs and photo I believe them to be the SAME exact monitor). for $199.
