I just want to say, that this sentiment is not correct ... this game is vastly different than 7 Wonders. Earth has a lot more cards (offering more unique repeatability), discreet turn order, action selection mechanics which affects everyone, competing for shared objective, personal objectives, triggering bonuses based on actions... I could go on and on, but the summary here is: Not like 7 Wonders at all. If I had to compare it to another game that I've played, I'd say Earth is most similar to Wingspan. And to be clear, I'm not stating that either game is better than the other... I just want to make it clear that Earth is nothing like 7 Wonders based on mechanics and gameplay (ignoring theme).

Looks like a complicated version of 7 Wonders. I'd rather a nature-themed 7 Wonders reskin, I think.
It's always best to do more with simpler mechanics--like games that use only money or only armies as currency are generally better focused on gameplay. The exception to that might be Settlers of Catan.
