Would this be a good size to use in dorm room? Would it be big enough to make a nice portion of chicken wings? Say, 8 to 12 wings
You will likely have to stack a few of them and shake basket a few times to rotate. Check out YouTube reviews for 4 qt sizes. But they will come out great anyway, so not a problem
I've had the 4, 6 and 8 qt. air fryers and even for 1-2 people, the larger ones (6-8) have been a much nicer overall experience. I also much prefer the square baskets to these round ones.
The 6-8 ones tend to have more power (~500 watts more) and being able to spread the food across the bottom plate (instead of stacking) seems to make it cook better without needing to "shake the basket" as much.
The larger ones will also let you cook multiple things at once when you don't want to stack it. I bought the Bella Pro 8qt from BestBuy ($59-69 normally) and MUCH prefer it to the smaller baskets.
