Why don't people like myQ? I've had mine almost 4 years and it's been rock solid.

I hate myQ and wanted to like this but it requires running wires from the opener all the way down the track and to the door for the sensor.

Have these on both garage doors, love them. 5+ years now, have only ever had to reboot / restart once.

One of my favorite features is the ability to set specific close times / durations. I have mine set to close at midnight if open, in case I forget. My neighbor has his set to close 10 minutes after open because when his kids would get home from school (alone) they would open the door via a keypad but would always neglect to close it.

I'm completely satisfied with them and would highly recommend.

Edit to add - you do have to run a cable from the device to the door itself in order to get the magnet into position to sense open / close. Not a big deal in my book but to each their own. I certainly wouldn't run them down the track for fear of cutting the wire during operation. I have mine tacked to the ceiling, nice and orderly. If you wanted to, you could likely route them through the attic to eliminate the wire from view.

Also working for me. Not sure this is a sale though. But it's a good cheap product in general. They sent me the adapter I needed for free

This has been running solid for me for over 6 months now. Much much much better than myQ and native integration to Apple Home. Highly recommended.

I think you'll need an Internet connection.

I've been using this for about 3 years. Works perfectly and consistently

It can automatically close my door after a preset amount of time and/or at a certain time of day. It can also alert me when the door is opened or closed.

The Meross app on my phone replaced the old garage door button in my car. Now if a thief breaks into or steals my car, they can't easily open my garage.

It works with Google Home, so I can program lights to come on when the door is opened. I can also add closing the door to a Google routine.

Agreed, except I don't like they refuse to integrate with Alexa

Can't it open and close using voice commands? I use Android Auto in my car it would be nice if I was a block away and could tell it to open or close depending on if I'm leaving or arrriving using the voice commands for Google Assistant while in the car.

Also, can it have an automation to be set in Google Home to close every night at 10PM, or something like that, in case it was left open earlier in the day?

For those wondering. No Hub required means it uses your wifi. Not Zwave technology.
