A lot of bad reviews about it not working after awhile. If you don't need it til winter, you'll be way past the return period.

I haven't seen a good electric blanket in like 30 years. Most die after 6 months.

Crap brand. Have prob 5-10 and they all crap out fairly quickly even without washing. I use them with protective covering so they don't need to be washed as often. Maybe I should search a way to repair as the blankets aren't comfortable to be used for anything else

Meh. I've got a couple going strong for 3 seasons now plus. Really just varies; these are made by the millions and some bad ones slip in. For $15 you aren't exactly out much here.
