Good point. I've read the reviews, and none mention a collapsible handle. The reviews are excellent, and several reviewers mentioned the skillet's long handle. I've just adjusted the original post to remove "collapsible."

Looks good. I use my other "light weight" Ozark Trail cast iron pans daily. They're as good as any of my dozen other cast irons from every name brand. Wish one was available nearby.

The description says the handle is collapsible, but the photos don't show this (unfortunately). Great reviews, however.

All over eBay says it is collapsible too 😂 dunno. It could fold after the rivets 🧐

Nice deal! I had just gotten a 8" lodge cast iron for camping, but this lightweight one seems way more practical.

Unless you're backpacking then why does weight matter?

Roasting nuts or coffee over the fire would be much easier on the wrists with a lighter pan.

I think when they are talking about collapsible handle they actually mean the silicone handle part, not the metal iron handle which obviously can't collapse.
