Unless they changed it for this. Last week, you get an immediate pop up confirmation after clicking Claim Offer, (see attachement) and then on the morning of 4/6 got a push notification in App with reminder to use promo but no confirmation in the offers tab on 4/6 or 4/7. Took 4.5 hrs from purchase on 4/7 for 100 stars to show up but my Challenge Bonus never posted and I had to chat with CSR yesterday to manually add.

Best way to take advantage is to combine with any challenge offers you have and a personal cup for 25 stars

Hope they fixed all the glitches with this game that made it impossible to actually get the coupon last time.

If this is the direction Starbucks is going with their promotions it's exactly 180 degrees from where they need to be.

1) play a stupid game which seems barely playable on certain devices.

2) get a coupon- maybe- the next day for half off a drink*

3) *IF there are still coupons available….

Sheesh, the majority of their drinks are just coffee flavored sugar water at this point. They're not very good at all if you have them cut back on the sugar. The only thing I find consistently appealing is their nitro cold coffee with some heavy cream, but the level of speed in that stuff tends to destroy my ability to sleep nowadays (and there is no decaf version).

Next week they'll probably add a requirement that you must spin and win a roulette wheel in the store before they'll accept your coupon. Whatever young interns are running the promotions desk have too much time on their hands and clearly little understanding of how much BS most reasonable people will go through to save a couple bucks off their overpriced swill.

It's tedious- just offer a deal or not, Starbucks. Reading through this thread only tells me that this promotion is going to backfire, another big waste of time.

What was the prob? I completed it on a computer and two phones. Computer was easier to control. Ordered on the weekend got 100 stars easy.

edit: It worked on my spouses phone, but not mine...very odd.

Did you get confirmation that you would get the coupon tomorrow? I didn't get anything after I clicked claim offer, it just opened the app up.

I did the game 5 times on both desktop and mobile signed into Rewards and on different networks, but never got that message

It pops up really fast, I almost didn't see it. Also, @BF_ makes a good point that last weeks offer took about 5-10 hours for points to show up on the app.

I had trouble with it last week but hopefully this time will work.
So the coupon is only good for the following day.
Asking bc I want to use the coupon on Thursday so thinking I should wait until tomorrow to play the game?
