While this is definitely not a quality set, for someone just starting (or experiencing hard times) this may be exactly what they need. It might suit the needs for a starter home, a single parent, or someone falling on hard times. I get you're trying to be funny, but for some people, you either sound like a d*ck, or you're bringing them down because this is all they can afford. Maybe take your troll comments to Reddit.

This looks like an incredibly uncomfortable table you'd expect to see in a hotel lobby or somewhere people dont want you to sit and linger for extended periods of time

I used to have a higher quality version of this some years back and it was great to stick in the corner of a family room for extra seating. We'd play board games on it, people would sit at it during parties, etc.

Not sure the quality of this one though.

This is perfect for being "the kids table" when the "adult table" has exceeded its seating limits. I wouldn't want it for daily meals. But I could see letting little ones eat snacks and do crafts with this.

My brother and I live in a nice 1500sq ft home on a lake but everything we do is on the go and we don't need a big table because we eat at our bar. This would be perfect I think

I would stay away from anything MDF for those that are less fortunate. Craigslist - Offerup - FB Marketplace. Freebies app always giving away furniture etc. Just Saying - Junk

If they made the supporting structure diagonally, that wouldve been much nicer. Sitting in the corners of the table is not so great.

The vast majority of European furniture is mdf based (not even mdf, but particle board). Good quality mdf has some benefits even comparing to "real" wood.

If you're really strapped for money, a generic 4' folding table [walmart.com] is $34.88 and a set of 4 folding chairs [$55.92 - https] $55.92 for a total of $90.8 + tax and is infinitely more comfortable and useable than this setup. Add $10 for a 5' table [walmart.com].
