While this is definitely not a quality set, for someone just starting (or experiencing hard times) this may be exactly what they need. It might suit the needs for a starter home, a single parent, or someone falling on hard times. I get you're trying to be funny, but for some people, you either sound like a d*ck, or you're bringing them down because this is all they can afford. Maybe take your troll comments to Reddit.

This looks like an incredibly uncomfortable table you'd expect to see in a hotel lobby or somewhere people dont want you to sit and linger for extended periods of time

I used to have a higher quality version of this some years back and it was great to stick in the corner of a family room for extra seating. We'd play board games on it, people would sit at it during parties, etc.

Not sure the quality of this one though.

I was going to make a hotel lobby comment when I saw this too.

I've bought Mainstays products before. They're okay. This would be good for someone who's going for hotel lobby theme.

I have this table for our kitchenette. It is great for a spot to drink coffee or kids to have a meal at. Would not get to replace any dining room set as it is quite small but is perfect for our needs. In addition each seat has a decent amount of storage. If you are lacking storage space and need a small seating area this is a great set. Comfort is better than it looks unless you are very tall then I could see it being an issue.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but at 19" I feel like those stools are going to sit lower than your average toilet. I imagine it is made for the NYC gen z type that lives in a $2000 a month broom closet, where this can cleverly double as a night stand and kitchen counter.

we have a small covered patio. although it would not get wet, the humidity/moisture in the air is a concern. any thoughts on how this would hold up in a warm outside environment?

Very easy to install. Great for small spaces. We used it for my kids' dining and homework table. 4 cube seatings are great to store their toys/homework/books, and blankets. Great buy
