Can we just get a deal on the RP-8000F II and not the junk atmos version?

I'm new to the Klipsch scene. Why do you not like the atmos version vs reg RP

Nothing to do exclusively with klipsch but I personally wouldn't want atmos built into my expensive front speakers.

Just don't use/plug in the up firing speakers. This is a killer deal for the package with the sub. Hate to think what I spent on my gen1 setup with the 8000fs

this is the biggest issue with bundles. they try to liquidate equipment and throw a bunch of pieces together with a discount. most times the bundle is not exactly what a person might need, so it ends up being wasteful (If they sell it for the right equipment they need). better to look for deals on individual pieces of equipment.

enabled / bouncy atmos leaves a lot to be desired. proper setup is much more difficult to get results that approach in ceiling atmos speaker setups.

Thanks, I see your point.....it looks like they're still selling at high prices. To think about it, I would rather get separate the Dolby speakers. I wonder if there is a difference in sound between both of the two towers with the Dolby speakers turned off.

How do the 600s compare to the 502s in the previous deal as rear speakers?

If you're going to use them with object based soundtrack content, the 502s are not ideal for that.

I always thought that adding ATMOS speakers to tower speakers degrades their quality.
The speaker becomes an upper level HTiB

I'm starting from scratch and looking for home theater setup for loft. It has everything I need. How is the overall combo? Should I wait for better deals or something comparable from competitors?

If you get this set and also get the separate Down-firing Atmos Speakers, you could just not plug in the atmos speakers here and still have what you want, but save like $1500.00. If you buy the RP8000F II, RP504C II and RP600M II speakers separately and get the atmos speakers, you'll spend roughly $4000.00.

Another option that is even less expensive and sonically not much different would be waiting for the 1st gen 8000f/504c/600M for $1199 deal.

Only side by side comparison would you hear the minor difference imo.
Definitely not a $500 one imo.
That $500 savings would be a good starting point for a good sub which is an important piece for a HT setup imo.

I would definitely save money. Hopefully they'll have a RP8000F II soon. Thanks
