These are oil resistant batteries meant for getting messy. I think the petrochemicals break down the yellow batteries faster for whatever reason.

No, it won't have longer runtime. It will provide more amps to tools that can use it. Great for impact wrenches, not so great for grinders or recipe saws.
Perfect when you need a tool to have big power, but don't want a big battery on it.
