This is the most powerful model in the Radeon line. There is nothing better than this except the 4090 which is literally more than double the price.

24gb vram also is as future proof as it gets considering the GPU makers refuse to offer over 24gb to the general consumer market for the foreseeable future.

I have this card. It's fine i'm happy with it. I just wouldn't feel easy about 1 year warranty dropping 8 bills on a refurb though. I would want 2.

This is cheaper than the Walmart Powercolor version posted a few days ago for $850. I'm almost tempted to buy it now, but it's refurbished.

this is also the lowest quality model of the 7900 XTX. Especially being a refurb, I would not buy this model personally for both reasons.

Not going to recommend this one. At this price tier I give NVIDIA a 15% price premium due to: Better RT, Better Upscaling, Better Resell Value, Better AI workloads. The 7900xtx is roughly 2% higher in raw raster.

New the 4080S is available at $1000 right now (multiple cards) and the 7900xtx is available at $900 (multiple cards). I wouldn't give AMD the go ahead nod until $850 (new). Then we throw in the refurbished status with the loss of 1-2 years of warranty. I am thinking $700 tops.

Not low enough for a refurb. Plus this is amongst the worst 7900xtx's.
