Oos near me in CA. Seems like the best bang for buck laptop by quite a margin. Hopefully they restock but I'm assuming the price is so low in order to blow out remaining inventory.

Yeah, if they had this in the Tustin store I would have bought it in an instant. That is a great price.

The Microcenter listing refers to one 16GB memory module occupying one of two slots. The Asus service manual also refers to there being two slots:

https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASU...el=K6604JI

The manual doesn't mention more than one M.2 slot.

Looks pretty chunky for a 4lb laptop, anyone have experience with this? It appears to be almost perfect for what I am looking for, but I travel a lot and won't be able to carry such a thick laptop easily in my backpack. I'm guessing it's for thermals, which makes sense

Thanks. Good to know about the single M.2 slot.

4 lbs actually isn't that bad for a laptop with these specs. Gaming laptops with similar specs usually push 5 lbs or more. But if you want a travel laptop that's relatively light, you might have to settle for one that doesn't have a dGPU.

Reread my comment, I'm saying for such a light gaming book why does it look so thick? You read my meaning backwards
