Yes you can use 5w-30 in vehicles that call for 5w20 or 0w20. The 20 weight oils are for CAFE needs, not engine longevity. But its best to not use a 20 weight oil in a car that came with 30 weight when new.

In any case unless you own a C8 corvette which requires dexos R or a euro spec model it doesn't really matter all these oils meet API and in the case this one dexos 1 gen 3 specs which means it is good for the plebs.
Of course M1 is a fine oil, but so are the warren versions. I use both depending upon the rebate cost/price at the time along w/ Pennzoil.

Just use 0w-20. Your car will work fine, in fact may last a little longer.
Yes it will work fine. You can even use 5w-30 and get a little better wear.
