You still have to go to a T-Mobile store. But, another user said they were able to pick up a tote from an *authorized retailer*, not just a corporate store, as was the case in the past.
They usually still say T-Mobile on the outside of the store, but will say "authorized retailer" (not local retailer) on the sign to indicate they're not owned by T-Mobile. YMMV, but this means the freebies aren't necessarily restricted to corporate stores only, anymore.
