You're not wrong. If you currently have a Samsung tablet that you love and are just looking to upgrade, you'll generally get better deals trading it in to good ol' Sammy in the states. If you have an old IPad, you most likely won't like the change in ecosystem. However, if you have the oldest tabs that Google is accepting trade-ins for, like the S6 Lite, you do get a better trade-in deal here.

The benefit of Pixel devices is great photo. But I don't know who would use tablet camera to take pictures...

Meanwhile an old iPad is still infinitely more valuable than any android tablet, which are a dime a dozen
