I usually use either Phosphate or Vinegar for this purpose.

But for $1.74 I'll give this a try. Probably at least will smell better.

Is there a reason a single load of dishwasher detergent isn't adequate for cleaning the dishwasher?

Every dishwasher I've had was clean enough just buy cleaning the filter occasionally and washing dishes.

it's mostly for the lime buildup, but if you don't have that issue then your dishwasher should be good.

I run a cup of vinegar on quick cycle and clean out the filter every couple months, don't see the need for this kind of product.

I don't believe standard dishwasher detergent has the descaling stuff in it to clean out the inside of the spray arms and such.

Just worked for me. I find these to be the most effective at removing the lime/calcium buildup.

Just worked for me, thanks. I got one from the last deal it might have been exact same price. Happy with the result, just not sure what the "true good" value $ is for these. $5 still seems high though I am coming around slowly lol

Just put couple of tablespoons of citric acid in the bottom or the soap dispenser and run a cycle. You can buy Citric acid in bulk. Similarly for clothes washer too.

This leaves a chemical smell. Took a few loads for the smell to disappear.

How do you get the no rush credit with S&S? Doesn't make sense to me. On the rinse aid I do see the coupon, but it doesn't apply in the S&S checkout, maybe because of overlap with the cleaner.

On another note, I wouldn't buy any of this overpriced stuff on a regular basis but for a buck maybe. Vinegar does great things, and I never really had spots like the commercials show. But the commercials show a healthy 2 inch layer of toothpaste on a toothbrush

Edit: tried again on the spot stuff, the coupon was applied the second try, $1.25 or so, thanks! No Prime Credit anywhere in sight related to S&S

I bought it earlier, so it's possible it could be dead for one of the coupons.

Getting offered Prime No Rush credit can be picky sometimes. I noticed that if I use my Amazon credit card for payment I don't typically get it, so I use one of my other credit cards. You can get No Rush w/ one-time purchases and using the 5% S&S option at checkout. You miss out on the 15% off for 5+ S&S offer, but for lower priced items maybe $3 No Rush credit might be more valuable.

I sometimes have to play around w/ the Amazon Day delivery dates to trigger No Rush. I feel like making the date later you have a better chance of triggering it.
