It has mixed reviews though. https://www.cafeapplian
To avoid problems with leaking, I would just refill the water tank in place and clean it on occasion, rather than removing it each time to refill it. Other people complain that the grinder stopped working after a few months. I would give it a shot if I were looking for an all-in-one semi-auto. If you do get a lemon and don't want to keep it, you have 45 days to return it, but the customer pays for return shipping (don't throw away any of the packing materials). It does come with a 2-year extended warranty for free though.
For the money, it's really impressive. The Cafe has an interesting feature. It uses an app called SmartHQ that allows you to control the volume, water temperature, and strength (I'm not sure how it does that). I could see being able to change the temperature and shot volume as handy. A huge 95 ounce water tank, low water indicator, PID temperature control, nice legit looking 58mm portafilter and tamper. It should come with four baskets, 2 pressurized, and 2 unpressurized, but I can't be sure. The owner's manual shows that it does. https://products-salsify.geappli
Also, it's not a discontinued model. It still sells for $579 on a lot of sites. At $149 there's nothing remotely comparable considering all it comes with and offers. It's an outstanding value IMO.
Note: There are 15 grind settings, not 5 as stated on BuyDig. Buy dig also has the weight of the machine as 14 lbs, it should say 24. After doing a deep dive into the specs of this machine, I think it's a great design. I wish I needed one. A lot of the complaints sound like bad luck, or user error in some cases.
Also, this model is effectively discontinued. Their current model (which is already somewhat "discontinued") was a grounds-up redesign and much better/more compact.
