This is clearing old stock. They just released a new hub, the HB-3A4C.

Other vendors will have hubs with more C ports soon, or may have already released. Some upstream USB chip manufacture recently released a new product and all the OEMs are starting to put out the new models. I know Anker already has one too, but no buttons on that one. Big feature on the new hubs is USB PD and PPS.

Yep, excellent hub! Picked up a couple already, and at this price point, I'll likely grab a couple more.

does anyone know how many actual USB trees/hubs are inside this one? All the hubs that I purchased so far had the same issue - if I try to connect laptop > dock > kvm > hub, I always get "too many USB hubs" error. Would love to get at least 4 working ports in such a setup (as other devices are dumb and just need power). Here is a link that explains what I mean: https://superuser.com/questions/1...from-the-r

Thanks, worth holding off for newer features. What is everyone using this many ports for other than charging?
Personally, I need the many USB-A ports. I have a standing desk with my PC not on the standing desk. I raise/lower my desk many times a day, so cable management from on-desk to off-desk is a major consideration for me. On the desk, I have a USB mic, keyboard, mouse, webcam, Stream Deck, memory card reader, and wireless headphone receiver. These are all USB-A items, a couple (webcam and mic) need a little bit of significant power. While I would love the new model with the USB-C ports, I have minimal need for USB-C going from my PC to my desk but major need for USB-A. So, unless there's a new model with more A ports, this older model is better for me.

(Side note: I'm not buying this because I have an even older Sabrent model that I use now that works well. But if I were buying it, I'd grab this posted model and now that new model with USB-C ports.)

Ordered and cancelled. thanks for enlightening that this is older model!
I prefer the older model. Don't really use usb c and the few usb c cables/phone chargers I got from Baseus, I get that weird tingling feeling like its going to electrocute me.

four 5Gbps USB-C, still junk.

2x2 20gbps doesn't even exist as a hub pretty much, usb is such a mess.

Sticking to this for now. https://www.amazon.com/ikuai-Supe...09Y1VV9QN/ only 4 ports but it does do the 10Gbps

At least 2, hubs are chains of 4 yes and the topology is 5 deep max including the hub on your motherboard.

I've had this exact one for the past couple years and every noncharging port has an external HD plugged into it. I thought everyone ran 10 drives (counting the 3 internal) at once? Just me I guess...

I've been using this since 2020. One port doesn't work, but that's my only problem with it. Well, unless you count my laziness to label what each port is used for.

Thank you for the link. Looks like the one on Amazon is a 20-watt version.

I keep my PC in the bedroom next to mine, so my room stays a lot cooler(and quieter) and is less of an eye-sore. So this HUB is sitting in my bedroom on a desk (with my monitors of course), with a long cord leading to the back of the actual PC in the other room. Now I can hook all my stuff into the hub instead of the PC. Headphones, desktop mic, mouse, keyboard, phone and controller charger, occasional things like usb thumb drive, external HDD, portable DVD reader/burner, and the sky is the limit if you're into instruments/making music.

2 of the ports on this model stopped working after a year for me, but that's unfortunately my normal experience with all brands. TBH thats why me and a lot of people want this many ports, because we expect some to fail. Partly my fault I suppose, because I disconnect the usb dongle for my headphones a couple times a day when I want to plug them into my PS5.
Also worth noting is that some webcams requiring USB 3.0 simply don't work on any hubs at all, such as the Elgato

I have this and I love it. I had so much shit plugged into my USB ports that devices randomly stopped wkrking. The fact that this is powered has enabled me to run all my peripherals at once (mouse, keyboard, number pad, stream deck, mix amp, ring light, webcam, Xbox kinect, touch screen controller, two monitor USB hubs.

Only drawback is that the cat walks on it and turns shit off while I'm using it.

So do not recommend if you have asshole cats.
