AliExpress. Type in AER. Half the price and factory perfect. The bags from AER are made in China. Probably factory overruns made with same exact material and specs. Get them while they are available. Included CPP, day sling 3, and Day sling 3 max and others. Xpac.

Don't have to hate, it's just a suggestion if someone can't afford to buy direct. I usually say support the company but these are literally made in China and people are still making a profit selling them half price so AER is pricing them a little too high. I've also bought bags from them direct to support the business, just not all of them. I couldn't tell a single difference in bags.
I own the Tech Pack 2 and it's probably my favorite travel tech bag. It can hold a lot with all it's compartments. My one and only complaint is that the bag cannot stand upright on it's own, empty or full. Small gripe but if anyone cares about that, just fyi.
I've owned both. Material, construction, and design is all better on Aer bags.

Besides the larger size, are there benefits to the Tech Pack 2 that justify the $50 price jump from the Day Pack 2?

Are these actually any better than Ebags or Samsonite?

The one bag looks like a somsonite rebranded almost.

Dammit I want the Tech Pack but I literally have like 30 backpacks. Just got the Nomatic travel pack and used it on a couple trips and it was fantastic, feel bad cheating on my Peak Design with it bit it's superior to anything for travel. Still want that Aer though. 🤔

I own both and other than AER's xpac, no the difference is not so great as to be worth 7x the price. IMO. I have a lot of experience with packs but I'm far from a pack expert. Or paxpert.

Thanks for your input. Do you mean Aer xpac has much higher quality then other Aer packs? Thanks.

The Xpac fabric is excellent, but the zippers are the same, and that was a weak chain. In my case, they stated pealing in a year of daily usage.

Yes, I got same experience on other brand packs. And that kind of water resistent zip is far from smooth.

These obviously won't be for folks on a budget. Any bag will do "get the job done" for the most part.

What you're paying for is material quality, comfort/ergonomics, and thoughtful design (padded AND suspended laptop pocket, etc.)

These say up to 16" MacBook. Is there enough wiggle room for a 16" Lenovo Legion 7i pro gaming laptop?
