Is the nomatic that great? I absolutely love my peak design so can't imagine something better.
I had the opposite experience. Tried the Nomatic Travel Pack 20L and switched over to the Peak Design Travel Backpack 45L. While the Nomatic was high quality there were some features that just felt gimmicky. Couldn't even fit it under the seat on United, and it wasn't expanded.

Are these actually any better than Ebags or Samsonite?

The one bag looks like a somsonite rebranded almost.
Aer Cordura bags are literally perfect. Design is timeless and quality is incredible.

holy crap. They're kinda ugly and super expensive. I trust the comments about good quality, but come on that price? Yesh.

I've had my eye on the Day Sling 3 x-pac. Too bad it isn't on sale. Too much for me. I'd use it while traveling

Packhackers on youtube review things like these. I like their vids. If you're looking for travel backpack reviewish, they decent

These say up to 16" MacBook. Is there enough wiggle room for a 16" Lenovo Legion 7i pro gaming laptop?
My Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16" fits in the tech pack 2. It was my daily carry laptop for a while with this bag and it fit just fine. Also, I believe it's thicker than the Lenovo 7i Pro.

Really good. First of all it looks good and the quality very nice, my literal only gripe is the zippers are not super smooth because they are weatherproof. I love that I can lock every part of the bag, there's even a section inside that you can throw money or whatnot that's lockable and is RFID blocked. That middle section that's expandable is very nice also, I was able to put a day's worth of extra clothes in it so if for some reason something happened to my carry on I still had extra clothes. It has so many sections you don't really need to have something like a tech pouch. I thought the sunglasses holder would be gimmicky but it was actually pretty useful. Even the magnetic water bottle pockets on the side worked well. The shoulder straps were comfortable too. For general, everyday running around I would still grab my Peak Design Everyday 20L though.

The design looks ugly… what does everyone else think?
They think the these are really swell and fp worthy at $70 for a glorified fanny pack 😂

I've been traveling with the Travel Pack 3 for years and it still looks brand new. High recommend, material quality is top notch.

I've been looking at these kinda edc/tech sling bags for a bit now but wasn't sure if they would be for me or not. I decided to get a cheapo tech pouch [temu.com] from Temu, and I do kinda like the ease of being able to transfer my daily stuff. It's a pretty decent bag for $19 and it's waterproof.

The only bag from Aer that interests me is the Pro Sling as it's pretty similar to the Vertex Pouch [alpakagear.com] from Alpaka. I initially bought that cheap Temu bag just to see if I would end up wanting to spend $120 on the Vertex bag, and I think I would.

Has anyone had experience between the Pro Sling & Vertex?

Anyone have any experience with the dop kit? Price seems kinda steep compared to others, but wondering if the quality is worth it

Dammit I want the Tech Pack but I literally have like 30 backpacks. Just got the Nomatic travel pack and used it on a couple trips and it was fantastic, feel bad cheating on my Peak Design with it bit it's superior to anything for travel. Still want that Aer though. 🤔
Have you tried the $30 travel backpacks? Pretty dang good deal at first look. Matein brand supposedly has a lifetime warranty too

Travelon brand has anti theft bags, fanny packs, etc. most under $60.. build quality is phenomenal. Paying more than $50 for a dang fanny pack is ridiculous

This or Nomatic?
I've had my nomatic since the original kickstarter days. Best backpack I've purchase. I have seen reviews on the Aer travel pack 3 being a solid competitor that I would consider to be my replacement .

I have Aer cable kit and sling bag . Constructed with premium material imo .
