I've ordered a V8 and V11 from this seller (Dyson) on eBay and they have arrived in pretty much new condition. This is one of the better deals I've seen for a v15 with these attachments, including both the soft roller and digital motor bar cleaner head.

Please excuse the formatting as I posted via mobile.

In the box:

Soft Roller Cleaner head
Digital Motorbar cleaner head
Hair Screw Tool
Crevice Tool
Combination Tool
Mini Soft Dusting Brush
Stubborn Dirt brush
Wand Clip
Docking Station

Could you talk a bit about what makes the v15 $200+ better than the V8 refurb? Dyson models confuse me. Thanks!

Main difference from what I've read on the v15 vs v8 is suction is much better and battery lasts longer with a smarter auto mode. It has particle detection, automatically adjusting the suction for the type and amount of particles it's encountering. I just ordered one so I can't speak to it personally though. Also the batteries can be easily swapped on the v15 for a spare (same with v11) if you run out of juice, where as i don't think the v8 can? The v15 has a soft head with a green laser light that illuminates the floor so you can see the particles easily which people have commented as being a nice favorable attribute. There are some other attachments that I believe come with the v15 that the v8 doesn't have, like the hair screw tool which is helpful for fabric with longer hair/fur. Check out rtings.com for way more in depth info on comparisons.

Worth noting that the warranty is 6 months if purchasing on Dyson's site vs 2 years (via Allstate) when purchased from eBay.

Great vacuum, except the fact everyone's Motorhead is breaking(screws get stripped) and they have been out of stock for months. Oh and it costs $150ish for a new Motorhead.
Just a heads up

Do the refurbs come with new batteries? How is the overall condition purchasing from eBay?

I bought a v8 refurb from ebay it lasted a long time. i eventually replaced the battery with an after market one from amazon that was bigger. However the v11 I have now is substantially better, especially if you're dealing with hair.

I have both, V15 is miles better at sucking performance - but, if you've never had either, or any Dyson cordless, the V8 is great anyway.

Would Costco's deal be better? Brand new, longer warranty and easy returns for $100-something more? I believe it's only $540 in store.
