I never really appreciated the BL games until recently, always felt super boring but now I am currently playing through BL3, just completed BL Pre Sequel and Tina's One Shot Adventure. Something must have changed in my mind. Shame I own many of these on the Epic store so can't take advantage of this deal. (Most of the time Steam prorates bundles for games you already own)

As someone who already owned a bunch of the items in the collection, this ended up being a great way of getting the last few games/DLC for dirt cheap.

Through this feature, I paid $22 for everything I didn't have in this pack.

You GOTTA play bl2 it's the best in the series. Once you learn farming it's no comparison. Mechanics wise it's hard to go back after 3, but if you played pre sequel 2nd… 2 will be big step up

In my eyes, Borderlands 3 is the only Borderlands game worth buying. Borderlands 1 and 2 are a massive stepdown in gameplay feel. Pre-sequel I don't believe is different enough. Tiny Tina's is the only one I didn't beat let alone play the end game extensively.

i enjoyed Tales from the Borderlands and the New Tales from the Borderlands apparently is awful. I haven't bothered getting it.

Don't get me wrong, Borderlands 1 and 2 are in no way bad games. They were great at the time and Borderlands 1 was the first game I ever spent more than like, $30 on when it first came out. But I can't ever see myself going back to either of them when the gameplay of 3 exists. The story is worse (same may say absolutely grating) for sure but gameplay is why I would play a Borderlands game.

Actually I should have stated I have played BL2 a few times. First and 3rd time I had to force myself to like it (on a console and via the Switch), didn't make it through the game either time. Now, my second playthrough was via the PSVR w/AIM controller. That was an epic experience. Farpoint as well. Nothing to do with Borderlands just had to bring up Farpoint as it was just so fantastic Wink

I do not think I have ever played BL1. I think I actually like BL3 better than 2 or Pre-Sequel to be honest. Probably the newer Unreal game engine and tweaks mad there. The auto pickup ammo is a big plus in the newer games as I always found that too much of a chore in BL2.

I also liked BL3 much better than 2. Feels much more refined. I did enjoy the Pre-sequel but it was short enough not to wear out its welcome...it got close though. Never tried with 'Tales,' Assault on Dragon's Keep was decent. Again, short enough not to get stale but that maps were beyond confusing. Only BL game I had to constantly result to looking up walkthroughs. Felt (poorly) procedurally generated.
