I will start by saying I actually love Wyze Cameras. I've owned multiple brands ,at multiple price points and Wyze has been the best and at the lowest price point. I also have several other products and are great for the price. But these thermostats are terrible! I was excited when they came out because i was having issues with my home nest and I needed some smart ones for our cabin. I purchased two for the cabin and have had issues since day one. They are easy to install but lose connections very easily. Our cabin is in a very rural area and loses power often and when it does these never go back online. And wont stay in eco mode. The worst is when they dont reset themselves you have to go back through the install process. There is no reset on these. I've reached out to Wyze but they were no help and that was if they even answered. Stay away!

No way in hell I'm trusting Wyze to run my HVAC.

My Wyze thermostats worked fine. Until my electric panel had a power surge. Every other component was fine but the thermostat shorted out, and in turned shorted out my AC. I had to climb onto the attic and fortunately I just had to replace the fuse... Had two furnaces so I had to replace both fuses plus the one at my parent's house because I used their AC to troubleshoot and burned it out too. Frown

Picked one of these up at my local Walmart for 25.00 in the clearance aisle. Install was easy, and it's working great so far👍
