This uses the same panel as the lg 27gn950 for a base comparison.

I choose this monitor over a year ago but the price hasn't changed much. It's still quite expensive

Reviews suggest the SDR brightness is a little dim (doesn't even hit 300 nits). It's that your experience too?

I think this is the best all-round monitor you can buy if you need 4K resolution. I chose it because outside of work. Sometimes I play shooting games. However, I only play games at full HD, because using 4K 144hz requires really powerful hardware.
If you don't need such high resolution, there are more choices at 2K-2.5K. However, the screen and speaker quality of this monitor is quite impressive

My computer screen doesn't need too much brightness like my phone. I think this brightness level is suitable in the room unless you are in a room that is too bright like the surrounding glass apartments. To keep the screen color standard, I usually tend to lower the brightness moderately

I can. Highly recommend. Gamer for ages : CS2 + various others (D4, Dota, Darktide)

Purchased it for a high end rig, just replaced it with an Alienware UW 34"

Now, I have transitioned this monitor as of this week over to my work environment. MBP 16" M1MAX, etc etc

The sound, backlight, and backpanel cable routing are awesome. Buying this as a 2nd after I hit reply on this review. Highly recommend this using DP.

I agree, I got into a spat with someone who wanted a 4k monitor this small for the ps5. He ended up regretting it because it's not a difference one can see and it killed his frame rate

24" 1080p

27" 2k

32" 4k

Is what I prefer

For gaming 24" 165 VA is what I like for FPS overwatch

32" is immersive, but more to track.

27" 4k... Might be very sharp.. But even at 2k. I was in creasing text size.

I would just get that dell $200 ips monitor 2k 1444 gsync.

Can't say much about msi...

But HP Omen 27i Gsync monitor had horrible color.

Dell one was good rtings review for everyday use and gaming.
