Set point software will allow changing many settings: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us...4-SetPoint

The Logitech unifying software is also a must have to pair most any Logitech wireless input device on to a single dongle. Also, if you lose your original dongle this software allows one to re-pair your devices with a different dongle quite easily.

Love my mushy MK550 keyboard which I got for free secondhand. No, I would not use the included mouse as a daily driver. Marathon Mouse M705 is about as cheap as I'd go for a daily mouse.

I got this set for free from someone new in box. The keyboard is OK (extremely mushy space bar) but the mouse is the worst mouse i've ever used in my entire life. The 10 dollar microsoft intellimouse is even better than the mouse in this kit. Besides from sloppy buttons the tracking is extremely jerky and I have no idea why, and have never found a setting to fix it.

This isn't a software issue though, the laser sensor on the mouse is just junk (and possibly runs at 100DPI)

Love this keyboard, just wish it was backlit. Good price just for the keyboard though. I'll stick with my M575 instead of a mouse.

Maybe there was a reason you got it for free then. It was broken from the factory perhaps? Or maybe it needs to be re-paired to the dongle to smooth things out? Does sound defective though.

Logitech is good about their warranty claims but I'm guessing one would need the original receipt or proof of purchase date to make a claim.

For this deal the price for the keyboard and the universal Logitech dongle is worth it. Agree that the bundled mouse is not great even when it's properly working. Have had this keyboard a long time after a friend gifted it to me. While I wish it was backlit the battery life is excellent and the multimedia keys work perfectly in every OS I've tried.

I've run this keyboard for quite some time. It has been flawless. The letters are actually worn off, and I'm considering getting one for when the time comes where mine fails. But I have so much trust in mine, I think I'm going to pass!

This has been my favorite go-to mouse/keyboard combo at work for almost 10 years now. A solid set for the price.

Not a fan of the mouse, but the wireless keyboard good.

comfy, easy to get used to ergo shape ( not as steep as Microsoft one )

One dongle can connect many Logitech Devices.

Long Battery life.

Easy to configure media buttion, custom buttons.

Favorite keyboard of all time. I've been using it for over a decade. Swap the mouse with an mx2 or mx3 and you're golden

Threw the older version of this into the trash. They keyboard flexed so it didn't function right. The mouse also had issues but luckily I caught it in time to get a replacement under warranty but the keyboard failed. I also had their MK700 combo, keyboard starting typing 2 letters for the command with a \,. It was out of warranty but Logitech came through when I showed them how much I spent on Logitech products which I have always trusted in the past. With the recent quality issues I'm not sure. I also had issues with their gaming mouse.

Does open box imply used or refurbished? I'd only spend $30 if it is new/unused.

Have good through 2 sets of these keyboards / mouse combos. The mouse is OK, nothing special. The keyboard is nice and works well. The keyboard works well for last about 5 or so years before it becomes unusable. The key just stick. Taking it apart and cleaning it does little to fix it. Bought a Logitech G915 on FleaBay for $75 just last month. Night and day difference but for $30, i might buy it as a backup as i still miss the zoom and media keys.

I purchased this combo yesterday but can't download SetPoint in order to reprogram some of the keys.

I've got 2 of these keyboard/mouse combos and also piling onto the feedback that the keyboard is great but the mouse is hot garbage.

One of mine won't drag/hold and select for anything and constantly does random double clicks. Honestly - trash mouse.
