To you folks who intend to buy a watch, get an eco-drive, no battery to replace every 2-3 years or so. Mine is well beyond 10 years old & still keeps proper time Sapphire crystal or no, get one you like; I can't imagine you will be disappointed. Repped.
Yeah, but what good is a scratched up watch face at any price. I don't want to have to worry so much about protecting a watch.

Just because I sent in my eco drive, the movement can still go bad. I thought I was going to get a free battery replacement but apparently the movement went bad on my watch and was a $170 repair. It was their signature line so pricey watch but was disappointed that it happened.

For $115 though, this seems like a steal.
Goodness, there are always lemons for a product, but I am almost shocked, really.
You're better off waiting for a Tsuyosa, which can be had for ~$130 from Joma. It's a better watch and does have sapphire.
It might be better on paper, but Citizen's budget auto movements are not the best or most accurate and will require some maintenance. The Eco-drive system is much more reliable and practical for long-term use.

I think all the tsuyosas are 40mm though. 44mm on this one is just over my limit.
