Looking for a dutch oven and really torn between the 5.5/6 qt Cocottes vs getting a Le Creuset instead.

Good deal on the Zwilling Pro 7pc knife block though. I know the recommendation is to get knives "a-la-carte" but that block already has the all the essential knives you will ever need and the block is compatible with the half bolster design of them knives.

Tempting to get that Kramer euroline 8in chef knife too. I don't think I have ever seen it below $200 bucks.

I was kind of excited for that 500+ dollar knife block set for 250 but it doesn't come with steak knives which go for 250 for four. Um no thanks lol

Is Zwilling still made in Germany? I have read that their Henckels brand has been made elsewhere for a while now.

Thank you. Slickdeal. I got a block set for the price of one chief knife. The gift is a scale with wireless charing port for phone. Not sure how that go together, but ok.

It depends on the series. If the logo has 2 stick men, the it is likely to be made in Germany.

I believe Henckels is not made in Germany while Zwilling is. Look for the "twins"

I made a purchase last sale and my order didn't show up after a couple weeks. Had a really tough time getting any answers from their customer service, but they basically said the order was processing and never got back with any other details. I waited about a month and reached out a second time and they finally said the knife I ordered was out of stock and that they had to cancel the order. The knife randomly showed up at my door a month later after the cancellation in brand new condition. Not sure if they're always this disorganized, but worth noting.

I've also heard the "visual imperfections" listings can be way more than just a blemish.

Incredible deal on the Zwilling Pro 10-piece set with the acacia block at $249. It's a $600 knife set. Even better if you have the $30 statement credit from Amex on your account.

I would buy one without thinking about it, but the set of Professional S knives (same steel, same quality level, slightly different design) I bought nearly 20 years ago (at a comparable deal considering inflation) still serve me well and are used daily.

I highly recommend the German made sets of this brand of knives. They will probably outlast you if you take care of them.

As someone alluded, I would be careful about "blemished" stuff if it's part of this sale. They sent me one once so badly damaged it was unsafe to use, and the replacement wasn't much better. Customer service was non-existent and I had to make a chargeback through AMEX to get my money back.
