Selected this mesh system over Orbi and Netgear offerings, glad I did. I consider this price point on the higher side of the middle of the road mesh systems out there.
Extremely easy setup and install process, you can deep dive into a plethora of settings OR you can just run it as is out of the box. Have the main router/hub in the middle of a sizable 4k sqft house and the other upstairs in my office almost directly above the main hub on first floor.
Noticeable speed and coverage increases all around. I was originally concerned if I had enough wifi points coming from 5 google wifi pucks to just 2 x ASUS points. No issues at all and actual increases across the board to the farthest corners of the house and even detached garage! Finished basement used to have 2 google wifi points but with this ASUS mesh system, no wifi points needed anywhere in the basement to the TVs, streaming devices, game systems, etc.
Bottom line: Excellent upgrade from the Google 2nd Gen wifi system!
