Intel Stock Cooler will likely go in the trash and that seems like a waste, so I'd recommend adding another SSD or HDD instead of it for a few bucks more.

I did a 32GB RAM kit and a 500GB NVME because I didn't want random trash I wouldn't use. Still < 550 with those two in there.

Nice! Yeah definitely, if there are components you could actually use it'd be good to go for those. Example 2nd & 3rd items in the OP are just some low-priced items to get you max savings for just the GPU where possible.

lol why put a lga1700 cooler on? Just put case fan in or something

Seems like good value for AIB card that is around 4070ti raster performance and decent power draw

Gigabyte has vapor chambers so cooling is pretty good as well but lighting is lackluster but not as bad as PowerColor Since fans have to be on to do anything cause it's PWM lights

Case fans are under accessories and they don't seem to qualify. I had the same thought and tried a mouse and it didn't qualify either.

Yup. Couldn't find any case fans that qualified. At least not for cheap. Intel cooler is just an example of the cheapest item I could find that was eligible for the promotion. You're more than welcome to choose something else though Smilie

FWIW, the best "bang for the buck" fillers I could find are these two:
$28, https://www.newegg.com/team-group...6820331832
$22, https://www.newegg.com/enermax-et...6835214072
I saw a $12 filler ram yesterday but looks like it's gone now.

Also, just for research purpose, can we add two random fillers and return them later?

If you're gaming at 1440p, I would say you could expect approximately a 30% Improvement in frame rates. That of course is dependent on what games you play.

In general, I don't think it's worth it at all to upgrade between mid range value gpus every gen. A 7900 gre only gives about 30% more fps in full gpu limited games. If you think 30% more fps is worth 300$ (assuming u sell the 6800), go ahead I guess. It would be better if add 150$ on top more and get 60% fps gains with 7900 xt for it to be meaningful.

Such a great time to build a pc folks, I just bit it and for $1200 with tax, I got a 7800x3d, 7900 gre with a dope o11 vision case. Microcenter and newegg saved my wallet this week.

Nope, as others have said it's only a small gain for a large price difference.

I would agree with your statement, but the 7900 gre is closer to high end. The gap between the 7900xt and 7900gre is more like 15% when considering the memory uplifts that the GRE recently achieved through a driver update.
