Thumbs up for a good deal. Also temped to make the drive to MC. I would prefer 32GB when sharing memory with iGPU, but you can't argue with the price.

I picked one of these up today. Looks brand new but OLED panel is VERY slightly twisted in the frame like 1/16 of an inch so the task bar on one side is just slightly elevated. Everything was as said in description. I wasn't aware but HP doesn't have any OLED protection software like ASUS. ASUS has a much better suite of device software, and also this runs slower on GPU benchmarks because it's limited thermally (per reviews I read). I didn't know, but I'm using it for productivity.

Is the OLED screen going to get damaged if you don't changed the static wallpaper for a while?

No just use it and sell it after two years. No need to worry about these

I use dark mode for everything, transparent and hidden task bar and setup bing wallpapers so it changes the image everyday. Plus they are cool.

I was waiting for this laptop to go on sale through HP or someone. But, this is too much to pass up. This MSRP on this laptop is $1200. It gets good ratings from CNET and Toms Hardware. If this is available in your area and you need a new computer then I suggest pulling the trigger here. I did.

Considering cost vs. performance - comparing to a Thinkpad T14, is it worth 2x the cost? T14 is ~$1k on eBay.

This is an outstanding price. I bought it new for $700 at Costco and love it. Only downside is that the speakers are awful. Everything else is great.

My parents bought this a bit ago during the Black Friday sale, had to send first one back because the driver for the webcam kept failing. They sent them a new one... Same thing happened and they decided to return. They loved it though when it worked.
