The keys are no longer proprietary with their latest refresh, it comes with 2 standard keys now that you can make copies of. I ordered from Amazon yesterday and just installed it this evening.

Ehh I like the products but they don't support WPA3 and the tried gaslighting everyone here the exploits found. I wouldn't trust them for a lock.

I can confirm the one you linked has the curved cylindrical keys. One of the comments here mentioned recent models to have "regular" flat key, maybe someone can confirm.

I've had both. I recommend the Wi-Fi version. You'd think the bridge would have better battery life but that wasn't my experience. It was just another part to fail for whatever reason (including being unplugged when vacuuming and not plugged back in - don't ask how I know).

I've had mine for over a year (would love to be able to get the non-proprietary key upgrade without buying new) and I love it. The kids and gf have their own codes and fingerprints, it is responsive and the battery lasts about 6 months. I have Eufy cameras and scale and this was easy integration to the ecosystem (they have all my datas). My only issue is my door alignment is a little off from the deadbolt hole so you have put some pressure closing the door for the wifi or fingerprint unlock to work. That has nothing to do with the lock. In the evening my door gets direct sunlight and I have a storm dorm, it can get very hot 130°F+, this has never caused issues with the lock.

Been having this for about a year and it works really well. Just make sure your hand is not wet or too oily or the reader won't work. Keys are going to be a pain if you need replacement, but they give you 5, plus they seem to be sturdy so I hardly doubt normal accidental sitting would break it. Battery lasted about a few months at a time, only have to charge it to full once, and that's from multiple uses in a day. Plus it will warn you about low battery so you can just charge it overnight and pop it back in the morning. App unlock/lock is pretty fast over wifi.

I loved my lock from them only issue is the battery died I reconditioned it and it wouldn't work because no Bluetooth. Replacement battery is $80. I prefer my Schlage with nine volt battery.

I have a lock with a passcode, but for some reason the battery drains crazy fast, to the point where i don't even replace them and it's become just a normal lock at this point. Frown

If you are still in the return window ... here is a hack buy this for 130 and without opening the package return it in the same box but using the $160 return label. just print the new label from amazon and ship it back .... i bought it for 167 ish too a month ago and thats what i am doing for 37 back in my pocket.

i hate Eufy smart locks; they BRICK on you after firmware updates. I even swapped out the hardware between 2 different locks and its the firmware that causes issues calibrating.
