There's also a deal at Dollar General this week for 10% off GameStop gift cards that can stack with this, although online GameStop orders are limit two gift cards per transaction. Assuming three games of equal value are bought in a single transaction and they're paid for with a 10% off gift card, total savings come out to just under 40% off the base price of each game.

I never have good luck with used games at GS. Im hoping Target or Amazon runs a similar deal soon. Really want to pick up Dragons Dogma 2 Rise of the Ronin and FF7 Rebirth.

Be careful and test out your games.

Most of mine came in sleeves, not cases. One didn't even have the game in it! Another one, the game didn't work.

I literally thought I was on the wrong web page for a minute when i saw the prices. It is really unbelievable that they think they can get away with gouging their customers like this. The people who love this store do so because they want to save physical media or whatever, fine but this aint it, giving a %5 discount for used, no case games. Some of which are years old.

This promo has limited success to find a decent deal but it's still possible. Local store here happened to have 3 games I was looking for all with original case, cover art and discs in like new condition, and all roughly the same price so I wasn't getting a cheap one as the freebie. Resident Evil 4, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Octopath Traveler 2 all on PS5 about $80 after tax. Was it an AMAZING deal? No, but still $30-40 cheaper than buying everything new. And I used trade credit accumulated from the 50% extra trade in promo, so I spent exactly $0

I don't think gamestop deserves to be in business anymore. Completely irrelevant to the gaming industry and the browsing experience and sales are actually far worse than any department store - and in the latter you can actually buy other stuff you need too. Was a pro member for the $5 coupons but I'm going to let that expire - nothing to use the money on now that they got rid of the ability to use it on digital currency.

New user coupon. $30 off $60. Add a filler product to the game to cross $60 and then apply coupon. There's another thread on QVC Switch games.

Their price is lame nowadays, yes, it's buy 2 get 1 free, but most games are jacked up to full price so if I buy from somewhere else I get the discounted price for buying individually.

Technically I bought RE4 and cyberpunk for $25 a piece new, so technically you're spending $30 for the freebie I'm not sure what's the others price in the past, so yeah, it's still not a deal. But if you want it now, then anything is a deal

It's not exactly a new or a Gamestop exclusive thing. Every retailer bumps up the games to full MSRP when doing a B2G1F on new titles and Gamestop has always had their preowned games at $5 off MSRP.
