I dont have this brand, but these are replicated all over the place by many china companies, just wanted to say for this price they are worth it. I have one hanging in my outdoor shed, and a few spread out all over the house in case of power loss. They came in handy a few times, cant tell you much about battery life but the ones I got off amazon seem to last.

Overall for anyone who wants a durable light these are nice, cause they can be beat up while closed and still function, just no water proofing.

I have these too and keep a few in my car for emergency. I got mine from Amazon and they are VERY BRIGHT! I have only used them once a few yrs ago and they still work.

Like other have stated this lights are good for around a house during a power outage or campsite, walking with down the road (so people see you) without blinding them. They create a soft ring of light so do not kill your night vision (completely) just by glaring past them for a 1/10 of a sec when sat on a picnic table.

Note, they look metal-ish but are actually plastic.

I bought these for the same price last week. They are made of cheap plastic, and probably won't last long. The price is right about where it should be. I'm thinking of returning mine.

I have these and by no means are they worth $20. They are worth about $2 each.

Yup, looks like something I got for free or less than $2 at Harbor Freight as a promotion. I use it in the shed but that's about it. The open/close on/off action is not reliable. Wouldn't recommend for anything more than very occasional use.

I have 4 of these from another brand on Amazon. Doesn't have the red light or the light options. They're very solid, I assume the build quality is the same on these

Can I order some filler things to get $35 free shipping and just return things when they get here?

While I do not have this brand, I do have the same style lantern. They are great for putting into Jack-o-lanterns at Halloween. Fits perfectly into a regular size pumpkin.

Agree on your statement. I bought mine a few days ago. Plastic is very thin, doesn't open smoothly.

Also to note, these do not turn on/off when you slide the top up and down, you must use the button that cycles through the lighting modes.
